In the wake of the spirit of optimism after the fall of the Wall, courage, competence and the belief in the future here in the Ore Mountains merged to make a right decision, the establishment of the company Leistner Werkzeugtechnik by Albrecht Leistner.
It started with general grinding and sharpening work for commercial customers in the region. It quickly became clear that in order to meet the ever-increasing technological requirements in the machining of metal, wood materials and plastics, one must develop oneself into a technology-leading company in his field. In addition to grinding services, the development and production of solid carbide cutting tools on the latest multi-axis CNC tool grinding machines was introduced to Leistner in the middle of the 90s.
Currently, Leistner produces several different tool programs related to the respective user for the metal, wood, plastics and especially for the brush industry and exports milling and drilling tools to numerous countries around the world, e.g. Egypt, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Canada, Colombia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Netherlands, Austria, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Tanzania, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary, the USA and Cyprus.
