62nd FEIBP Congress Moved to 2021
The FEIBP has postponed the 62nd FEIBP Congress to September 22-25, 2021, and will utilize the same location in Prague, Czech Republic.
In making the decision the FEIBP cited the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and in particular the its effect on the European brushware industry. The announcement said that the COVID-19 situation not under control and there is no way to accurately predict when the world and business might start to return to normal. With the current circumstances, brushware manufacturers and suppliers face difficult times and the key priority is to survive this period. The FEIBP also noted these specific reasons in making the postponement:
- All companies in the industry will be keen on cost-saving measures during and after the crisis
- Our members are not at all thinking about registering for the Prague Congress
- Sponsors could be reluctant to support the FEIBP Congress
- It is possible no delegates from the ABMA would be able to attend
The FEIBP said a great program for the 62nd FEIBP Congress that was originally set to take place September 24-26, 2020. The communication had already started, and the Congress website had been launched. The hotel, service providers and speakers did agree to move the Congress one year, so the venue will still be the Hotel Grandior in Prague.
