Brush and Cleaning Brands Set for The Inspired Home Show 2027 in Chicago
Brushtech, Scrub Daddy, Libman and other cleaning-focused brands are among the exhibitors expected for the final Chicago edition before the Show moves to Atlanta in 2028. The Inspired Home Show will return to Chicago’s McCormick Place March 9-11, 2027, bringing together an estimated 2,000 home and housewares brands for what will be the event’s final edition in Chicago.
Organized by the International Housewares Association (IHA), the 2027 event will mark the 127th Show and the conclusion of a long-running Chicago chapter before The Inspired Home Show relocates to Atlanta beginning in 2028.
“The Inspired Home Show provides a vital in-person platform for discovering innovation, building partnerships and advancing the industry,” said IHA President and CEO Derek Miller. “As our industry evolves, the Show will evolve with it. 2027 marks a significant milestone for IHA as we bring the industry together to honor and celebrate the event’s legacy in Chicago before embarking on our next chapter in 2028.”
Among the announced exhibitors with particular relevance to the brush, cleaning and related home-care markets are Brushtech, Inc.; Scrub Daddy, Inc.; The Libman Company; Evriholder Products, LLC; Gleener Inc.; Brabantia USA; and Volume Brands International, representing brands including Clorox and Pine-Sol.
The Show’s core product categories — Clean + Contain, Dine + Décor and Wired + Well — will be brought together in McCormick Place’s South Hall. Organizers say the configuration is intended to encourage greater cross-category discovery and interaction between buyers and suppliers. The North Hall will meanwhile become a dedicated destination for international manufacturing and sourcing.
New Show-Floor Destinations Planned
IHA is also introducing several reworked areas for 2027. The Innovation District will combine Inventors Corner, the gia Student Design Awards and education programming into a single destination focused on product development and new ideas. The new Discovery Park will bring together the Debut Incubator, Candle Pavilion, Pet Products Pavilion and SPLiCE Licensing Hub in an area designed to highlight emerging products, brands and business opportunities.
Other returning features will include the Pantone ColorWatch Display, Buyers Club/New Product Showcase, New Exhibitor Showcase & Lounge, gia Retail Display & Lounge and Business Center.
“In today’s highly competitive landscape, The Inspired Home Show 2027 will offer buyers and sellers a crucial opportunity to get a leg up on the latest trends and opportunities,” said IHA Board Chairman Tom McMahon, president of JURA Inc. “It’s also one of the few North American events where brands can connect face-to-face with the industry’s most influential buyers while gaining valuable media and promotional exposure.”
Media and creator outreach will again be a major component of the event. According to IHA, the 2026 Show generated more than 645 million media impressions and attracted nearly 200 print, broadcast, digital and social media professionals.
Show Heads to Atlanta in 2028
IHA recently announced a partnership with ANDMORE that will move The Inspired Home Show to Atlanta beginning in January 2028. The event will be co-located with Winter Atlanta Market at AmericasMart Atlanta, introducing a permanent marketplace component and providing access to year-round showrooms in addition to the traditional tradeshow environment. The move will end a long association between the Show and Chicago. The event has been held in the city since 1938, beginning at the Palmer House Hotel before moving through the International Amphitheater and Navy Pier and eventually settling at McCormick Place.
