2022 ABMA Convention Notes

The ABMA welcomed back in-person attendees to the 105th ABMA Convention last week in Bonita Springs, Fla. The atmosphere of the event could best be described as a combination of enthusiasm and gratitude along with a note of concern. PelRay’s David McGee Retires After 35 years

The PelRay International Company has announced that sales manager David McGee will retire at the end of the month after 35 years with the company. He was recruited by Ray LeBlanc in 1986, and became the branch manager of Amex International’s warehouse located in Laredo, Texas. When Amex’s Laredo operations were relocated to San Antonio in 2007, McGee continued to work in sales and logistics for Amex alongside LeBlanc and Bart Pelton.

Brush Fibers Adds New Division In Mexico

Brush Fibers, Inc. with offices in Arcola, Illinois, and San Antonio, Texas, has opened a new company located in Monterrey, Mexico. The new entity is called Fibras y Cepillos (translates to Brush Fibers in English) and will be under the supervision of Roberto Sixtos, who will be the general manager of Mexico operations.
