ABMA Announces Donna Frendt as New Executive Director

After an extensive search, the American Brush Manufacturers Association (ABMA) has announced Donna Frendt of Creative Cyberservices as the organization’s next Executive Director. Frendt will begin her new role January 1, 2022.

With over 20 years of experience in association management, Frendt is pleased to add ABMA to her portfolio. Under her leadership, organizations have built on their strengths to amplify sustainable relationships and partnerships providing the foundation for consistent growth and success. She brings to the job an exceptional combination of energy, sincerity and focus on collaborative accomplishments.

2021 Brushware September-October eMag Now Available

 

The 2021 September/October Artist Brush Special Edition of Brushware magazine is now available to all readers in eMag (digital edition) format. August is American Artist Appreciation Month and we’re celebrating with the release of our brand new Artist/Detail Brush Special Section that highlights top brushes from FM Brush, Gordon Brush and Yongli Filament & Bristle Co. ABMA Announces Dave Parr Retirement Plan

ABMA President Greg Miller announced on Tuesday the retirement and recruitment strategy to replace David Parr with a new ABMA Executive Director in 2022. Miller says, “Dave Parr has been ABMA Executive Director since 2002 and had told the ABMA board at that time he would serve for 20 years, retiring in 2022. I can speak for the Board when I say we are sorry to be at the event horizon for this change; and while we are sad to see Dave go after an accomplished tenure with ABMA, we are all working to find an outstanding leader who can continue ABMA on its long and storied trajectory.”
