Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik and Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM) has announced an adjustment of the 2024 Interbrush dates to April 24-26, 2024. The date had been previously announced as May 24-26, but the organizers have indicated this was an error. The exhibition for the brush and paintbrush industry will be held in Messe Freiburg, Germany, in 2024.

The exhibition for the brush and paintbrush industry normally opens its doors every four years to 7,000 visitors from over 90 countries. In March 2020, rapidly increasing numbers for COVID-19 infections across Europe and the rest of the world led FWTM to postpone the 2020 edition to 2022.

Interbrush is the leading international trade fair for the brush and broom industry and was originally set to take place from May 6-8, 2020.

Messe Freiburg released a statement on Wednesday that indicates a final decision and announcement on Interbrush 2020 will be made on March 18. The statement also says Messe Freiburg is coordinating with exhibitors and industry associations to discuss alternative dates.
The 2020 ABMA Convention concluded last night with a game-filled reception that moved indoor due to unseasonably cool weather in St. Petersburg, Fla. The reception featured dartboards, shuffleboard, virtual reality head sets, giant beer pong, beer tasting and a caricature artist.
While the reception provided a great way to celebrate the end of a busy week, discussions still centered around the Coronavirus and the impact on Interbrush 2020. During the Thursday morning session, Daniel Strowitzki of Messe Freiburg announced that a decision on whether or not to postpone would be made in 10 days. That means all Interbrush attendees and exhibitors should expect a final announcement by March 15, 2020.

We have been monitoring the global situation daily and are closely following the advice of the responsible health authorities with regard to the coronavirus. Currently, they do not see any reason to place restrictions on exhibitions in Germany. Therefore, we would like to let you know that Interbrush 2020 will take place as planned from May 6-8, 2020 at Messe Freiburg.
