Lanoco Specialty Wire Products, Inc. (Lanoco), a leading provider of stainless-steel power brush wire, has appointed Jason Sabatino as Sr. Director of Business Operations to strengthen its front office operations.

An experienced administrator, Sabatino has spent over 25 years under the brightest lights of intercollegiate and professional sports. He has served in various roles developing best practices and creating efficiencies to produce record sales and revenue for his employers.

ABMA Mourns the Loss of Thomas O’Connor

The ABMA reports Thomas S. O’Connor, 78, formerly of Dennis, Mass., passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, Feb 11, 2021, at UMASS Medical Center. Tom attended Worcester Boy’s Trade, then enlisted in the United States Air Force for four years. Following his military service, he graduated from Becker Jr. College, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Clark University. He worked many years at Parker and Harper Manufacturing. Tom then co-founded the family business, Lanoco Specialty Wire Products, Inc., of which he was president for 25 years until retirement.

Tom enjoyed many years golfing in Florida, fishing and boating in Cape Cod Bay and traveling throughout the United States and Europe.

ABMA Reports Passing of Susan O’Connor Erickson

The ABMA website has reported on the death of Susan M. “Sue” (O’Connor) Erickson from Lanoco Specialty Wire Products. She was 48 and passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 10, 2020.

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and raised in Millbury, Sue was one of two daughters born to loving parents, Thomas and Mary Ellen (Bradley) O’Connor. She was a 1989 graduate of Holy Name High School, from which she went on to attend Springfield College, graduating in 1993 with a degree in Physical Education. Several years later, Sue received her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Clark University.
