MGG Welcomes Paggin Brand in Strategic Expansion of Brush Machinery Expertise

MGG has announced the integration of the Paggin brand into its organization, marking a strategic move aimed at strengthening its position in the global brush and paintbrush manufacturing technology sector. According to the company post on LinkedIn, the move is designed to reinforce MGG’s market presence, preserve decades of industry expertise and provide customers with an expanded and future-focused machinery platform.
MGG noted that the two companies share a long-standing relationship rooted in mutual respect, technical expertise and a strong manufacturing heritage in northeastern Italy. As part of the collaboration, Stefano Paggin will join the MGG team.
MGG described the addition of the Paggin brand as a strategic step that will help consolidate its role within the brush manufacturing machinery industry while preserving the legacy and technical value of a recognized industry name.
Founded in 1989 by the Marcon brothers in the province of Treviso, Italy, MGG has developed into an international supplier of automation technology for the paintbrush manufacturing sector. The company specializes in machinery ranging from standalone production equipment to fully automated manufacturing lines utilizing advanced automation and artificial intelligence-driven optimization technologies.
The company said its expertise spans the full production value chain, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and after-sales support for the paintbrush industry.
The Paggin brand traces its origins to 1951, when Giuseppe Paggin established the company in Mirano near Venice. Over several decades, the company became known internationally for machinery used in the preparation and processing of natural bristles and synthetic fibers for brush and paintbrush production. In 2005, the company — later known as P.G. Progettazioni Generali S.R.L. — expanded into the production of automatic paintbrush machinery while remaining family-owned and focused on customer service and technical support.
MGG said the collaboration creates new opportunities for customers and partners in Italy and internationally while building on the combined experience and technological capabilities of the two organizations.
