The American Brush Manufacturers Association (ABMA) has reported the passing of Mark Stephen Scagliarini, president and principal of Pioneer Packaging, Inc., who died peacefully on May 24, 2026, at the age of 74. Scagliarini joined Pioneer Packaging in 1986 as a sales manager and built a distinguished career with the Chicopee, Massachusetts-based company.
Over the course of four decades, he served in a series of leadership roles, including vice president of sales, general manager and ultimately president and principal. According to family members, he loved his work, valued his relationships with customers and took particular pride in the employees who helped make the family-owned business successful.
He was predeceased by his fiancée, Jill Shinners, third-generation president of Pioneer Packaging. Scagliarini also treasured his relationship with Jill’s daughters, Addison and Taylor Camossi, who remain active in the family business.
