Association of German Brush and Paintbrush Manufacturers Holds Successful 2026 General Meeting
The Association of German Brush and Paintbrush Producers reflected on a successful 2026 Annual General Meeting earlier this month while also announcing plans for its 2027 gathering in Freiburg, Germany. Held May 7-8, the 2026 meeting brought together more than 40 participants from across the German and European brush industry. This year’s host was Roth Composite Machinery, where attendees toured the company’s facilities during an afternoon visit on May 7.

Organizers extended special thanks to Christin Roth-Jäger and Dr. Andreas Reimann, along with the broader Roth Composite Machinery team, for their hospitality and coordination of the event.
Following the company tour, participants gathered for an evening dinner that provided opportunities for networking, industry discussions and strengthening professional relationships across the sector.
The official members’ meeting was held the following morning at the Schloss Hotel Herborn. During the session, Klaus Van Cauwenberghe, project manager for the World Brush Expo 2028, presented updates on the upcoming international industry exhibition.
Attendees also heard a keynote presentation from Prof. Dr. Eberhard Sandschneider, professor of Chinese politics and international relations at the Free University of Berlin and partner at Berlin Global Advisors. His presentation, titled “Outlook on the Geopolitical Situation: Between Dialogue and Confrontation,” examined current global political tensions and their potential impact on international business and manufacturing.
Looking ahead, the association announced that its next general meeting will take place April 15-16, 2027, in Freiburg, Germany. The event will include a company visit to HATHO GmbH in Eschbach on April 15.
According to the preliminary itinerary, the meeting schedule will include a board meeting, participant reception, company presentation and facility tour at HATHO GmbH, followed by an evening dinner at the Hotel Stadt Freiburg.
