Mill-Rose Tournament Brings Brush Manufacturers and Suppliers Together for 66th Year

The Mill-Rose Company recently hosted the 66th annual Victor F. Miller golf tournament at Shaker Heights Country Club, bringing together brush manufacturers and suppliers from around the country in honor of company’s past president, Victor F. Miller.
Skills of the golfers ranged from near professional to novice; however, a good time was had by all who attended the event. Cash prizes were awarded to golfers for low gross, long drive and closest to the pin shots.
A dinner followed the golfing event with attendees including Donna Frendt, American Brush Manufacturers Association (ABMA) director, as well as current ABMA President, Robert Lindstrom of Zepher Mfg., who provided industry updates related to the FEIBP Congress, ABMA Convention and World Brush Expo.
“The 2026 Victor F. Miller Golf Tournament was a great success,” said Gregory Miller, of The Mill-Rose Company. “The weather was perfect, we had a number of first-timers in attendance and I’m always impressed by the support and camaraderie at our events that strengthen bonds and create opportunities within our great industry,” added Miller.

The golf event serves as the culmination of activities in which brush company representatives renew alliances and discuss business trends/opportunities in the brush manufacturing industry. Many gathered earlier in the week for business meetings in the greater Cleveland area, which is often referred to as the “Brush Mecca or Capital,” as there are a number of brush manufacturers located in Northeast Ohio.
Brushes manufactured by these companies are used in virtually every type of industry around the world. Applications include makeup/mascara brushes, hair brushes, floor sweeping and polishing brushes, gun cleaning brushes, car wash brushes, copier toner brushes, brooms, paint brushes and special brushes used in the medical field.
