In response to the rising number of cases of persons infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) at the time in Europe and worldwide, Messe Freiburg made the decision in mid-March to postpone the leading international trade fair in the broom and brush industry to 2022. The trade fair was originally set to take place from May 6–8, 2020.
The first-rate international trade fair normally takes place every four years, bringing together about 7,000 visitors from over 90 countries.
In close coordination with the international industry associations as well as the leading Interbrush exhibitors, Messe Freiburg has decided to postpone the exhibition to May 4–6, 2022.
